In the US they are very expensive, $46.99 for a one month pack (according to www.walgreens.com), though some insurance companies cover part of the cost. I live in Grand Cayman, where insurance doesn't cover contraception, and most things are way more expensive than the US, but it still only costs CI$11.61 per month (around US$14). This is similar to the cost in other parts of the world that its available. I've always wondered why on earth its so expensive in the US - anyone shed any light on this? It depends if you have insurance or are eligible to go to a health clinic at college or other clinic for low income. If you have to pay cash look at http://www.drugstore.com they have the prices for medications.
