Is there a website to help me choose a car (any model) with specific details such as cruise control, cost etc?
I can't remember the site, but a couple of years ago I came across it where I could select options which I would like in a car and it would give me list of car make and models that match those specifications. e.g. cruise control, automatic, sat nav, upto 3 years old, saloon or 4x4 or hatchback, leather seats, immobiliser, alarm, price range and maybe some other items. do not say what pest you wish to control. There are small individual
devices for insects, others for rodents, others for cats etc. at varying
prices. Some are battery-operated, others electric, others re-chargeable.
As I understand, from another question you have posted about ants,
that you do not want to use chemical methods, I would like to
suggest that natural, eco-friendly methods are available, and most
effective, while being economical.

Pest controls are around $25, but it's mostly a scam, they work within a radius of perhaps 6 feet, beyond that the pests live happily ever after.
I bought Riddex for about 20 dollars...but it didn't work very well. I would even find spiders sitting right next to it.

Does anyone out there buy life insurance? That entire industry is based on what and how we calculate the value of someone鈥檚 life. So a company that want to calculate COQ (Cost of Quality) actually has many ways of doing this.
Note: the common terms today for Cost of Quality Control are: Cost of Quality (COQ), Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) or a new one Cost of Current Quality (COCQ).
To do this calculation, remember that the formula for figuring cost involves four different phases:
- prevention
- appraisal
- internal failure
- external failure
If we were talking about a human life, then the negative costs would be in one of the failure categories, as it would indicate some financial loss to the organization. Which only makes sense if we lose someone in our company, what will be the cost to replace that person (recruiting, hiring, training, etc.). Also, if the lose of life is due to some negligence on the part of the company, then there will be any number of legal issues that will have to be address at great cost to the company.

Community supported agriculture may help (google it for your area) because you sign up for a certain amount of locally grown produce. Do the math! Sometimes it is cheaper, but sometimes there is no way your household will consume that many eggs/meats/veggies (or process/store them) before they rot!

It depends on whether or not it is monthly, quarterly, and if you sign a contract or not! Monthly is about 30-50 bucks, sometimes more. Quarterly costs me 85 (every three months). Contracts--if you sign one for a year it will be cheaper. But at the end of the year, the contracts usually renew themselves (without anyone consulting you). So you can get screwed if you did not like your service. My guy used to always show when no one was home and then leave a 85 dollar bill in the door. It was terrible service. We never knew if or what he actually sprayed. So we terminated the contract. So it can be costly, be careful with the contracts. I wont say which company did that, but I think it is policy with many of them. Apartments may be cheaper because it would be less space than a house.Pest control,cost?

Let's see if I can help clear up your questions for you. For your 99 CRV, the upper control arms have to be replaced if the upper ball joints are bent, worn, etc.. Now in the Honda parts catalog they do show that you can just buy the upper ball joint boot and the cir-clip that holds the boot in place. That option is there if by chance the ball joint is still good, but the boot around the ball joint is torn and needs to be replaced.
Now for the upper control arms, they run $120 each list price for the control arms. And as I said before, dealers can set their own prices on the parts. But you can also shop around online with Honda dealers to see who offers a better price or even try Honda's online website to buy parts from a dealer of your choice (http://estore.honda.com).
For labor, Honda's flat rate time for the repair is rated at 1.2 hours for installation of both upper control arms. Using a estimate of $95 per hour at a Honda dealer, the labor should cost $114. Though I would think that 2 hours is not too far off for this type of repair. I would consider getting the alignment as well if you plan on doing this repair and replacing your trailing arm or trailing arm bushings. The last thing you want to do is to come in any quicker to your shop to replace tires because of uneven wear. And $70 is a normal price to charge for a alignment as well.

If a person needs a lengthy and expensive treatment now to get better, they have to choose between getting it or bankrupting an entire family. Same as without government control. Without people still die in the hospitals and otherwise. The difference is it's too costly to live at the moment. If a person needs a lengthy and expensive treatment now to get better, they have to choose between getting it or bankrupting an entire family. All insurance companies now have a money limit on coverage. Whatever would get them under control is Ok in my book.
Not as much as the profit-minded insurance companies. The government is at least interested in people getting treatment for their illnesses. Given the denial rates and the huge profits insurance companies are making, I doubt they have my health in their best interest. Think about it, if I see a doctor, it costs them money. The Mice will go back and tell the entire family that they have a found a good food source. SO bait it good for about one week every night before you go to bed. The food should be gone by morning.
Then when your good and ready after five-days of this stuff....on the last day take out all the trash out of the can or whatever trasgh can you used. Place it back near the edge of the counter and this time put the food in the bottom of the can where it is empty. You have just an empty trash can with no trash just food on the bottom.
The entire family of Mice will come out for their last meal that night and jump in that can like they havce been doing for the opast five days onoy this time they can't jump out.
My friend caught 45 Mice in one night. THE ENTIRE FAMILY with this trick.
The last one to come out and get snapped ona trap was the baby that was left behind when Momma never returned. So the babies are the last ones to show up and they get caught in glue traps and die becasue Mommas not there to prevent them from leaving the nest.

I would say a spring powered air rifle would be best for quick reloads though, so something like the Gamo shadow would work just fine (although I think Gamo is a little over priced), as well as the Crossman 1000x.
I use a Beeman Sportsman RS2 and I've never had a problem with it, although some others have.
The Remington Airmaster 77 is another good option for under $100, but like the Daisy the range will be limited to around 10-15 yards or so.

We had a skunk in our yard and Animal control said that to get rid of it the only thing we could do was pick up a trap from them, alert them once they were trapped and they would take the skunk and kill it. The reason is that the only other option is to take out its scent gland and re-realease them , but that it is animal cruelty to do so because it leaves them defenseless. The nasty part is that after they kill it YOU are responsible for getting rid of the body. GROSS. They didnt say anything about a fee though. Sometimes a vacuum leak causes the cruise to be inop. A vacuum line going under the battery to a vacuum reservoir which is a plastic bottle under the front bumper. If no vacuum from engine is getting to this, it will not work. Do you have a friend who knows cars? Have them check this. A line from intake manifold goes to a vacuum reservoir then to cruise unit.

How much will it cost to get a Passat's climatronic climate control system repaired or replaced?
It looks as if my climatronic control is not working properly on my Passat 2001. It does not display the temperature outside. It just comes up as -- C (celcious) It usually reads in F (Fahrenheit).
Sometimes, very unusually now, the air kicks in and blows out really cool air. That is why I think there is some sort of sensor problem. Otherwise right now it blows out mostly hot air since it is summer.

I've worked in Volkswagen dealership service departments on and off over a 25 year period, so perhaps I can offer some insight into the situation.
Normally, the language change (metric - celcious; english farhenheit) is set thru the digital computer display on the instrument cluster using the control buttons for the menu. (use the owners manual to understand how to set the display, if I try to explain it, you'd probably be more confused).
It is possible that the temp sensors that sense the interior temperature aren't working properly. You can override the system some what by selecting maximum cold and have the selector display blowing air out of the dash vents (with the arrow pointing towards the face on the digital display) to circumvent the automatic control. I'm sorry to say that sometimes the system when set on automatic will blow hardly any cold air or sometimes just blow at maximum speed with no ryhme or reason. Its the reason that I prefer the manual control set up on GLS or GL models verses the GLX.
Try the above and see if it starts to blow cold air; by setting the fan speed at maximum blow and temperature at the minimum, it should blow cold air fairly quickly; if it doesn't blow cold air, then you'll need to take the vehicle into a dealership to have someone scan the system and run self tests to see what is the issue. Expect to spend at least 1 hour's labour at what the labour rate is to help determine what the fault might be. I just hope its not the electronic control unit as they are somewhat expensive to replace (there are not servicable parts in the electronic control head; you can only exchange it for a rebuilt one-- its one place where the US car companies are far superior to all vehicles-- in the climate control area).

Sometimes, very unusually now, the air kicks in and blows out really cool air. That is why I think there is some sort of sensor problem. Otherwise right now it blows out mostly hot air since it is summer.

I've worked in Volkswagen dealership service departments on and off over a 25 year period, so perhaps I can offer some insight into the situation.
Normally, the language change (metric - celcious; english farhenheit) is set thru the digital computer display on the instrument cluster using the control buttons for the menu. (use the owners manual to understand how to set the display, if I try to explain it, you'd probably be more confused).
It is possible that the temp sensors that sense the interior temperature aren't working properly. You can override the system some what by selecting maximum cold and have the selector display blowing air out of the dash vents (with the arrow pointing towards the face on the digital display) to circumvent the automatic control. I'm sorry to say that sometimes the system when set on automatic will blow hardly any cold air or sometimes just blow at maximum speed with no ryhme or reason. Its the reason that I prefer the manual control set up on GLS or GL models verses the GLX.
Try the above and see if it starts to blow cold air; by setting the fan speed at maximum blow and temperature at the minimum, it should blow cold air fairly quickly; if it doesn't blow cold air, then you'll need to take the vehicle into a dealership to have someone scan the system and run self tests to see what is the issue. Expect to spend at least 1 hour's labour at what the labour rate is to help determine what the fault might be. I just hope its not the electronic control unit as they are somewhat expensive to replace (there are not servicable parts in the electronic control head; you can only exchange it for a rebuilt one-- its one place where the US car companies are far superior to all vehicles-- in the climate control area).

I wouldn't say any are better or worse for you, it really depends on which birth control WORKS best WITH you. I know a lot of my friends do well on Yaz, but my body did not work well with Yaz and I pretty much had my period for two months straight, but found that Yasmin does work well with my body. Its really a matter of trying one that your doctor recommends and see if it works well with your body. Im sure your doctor can shed some insight on a brand that works well with many of her patients and has a high success rate.
Also, the first month or two of taking birth control for your first time, you may experience some side effects. For myself, I had a lot of nausea, cramping, and breast tenderness, which went away almost immediately after getting my first period since starting the birth control.
PS- As for the second question, I don't have health insurance, so I have to order it online from BestBirthControl.net

The exam cost me about $70 %26amp; the pills there monthly cost $31. (Their pills are namebrand don't worry. Despite what some will say, planned parenthood is really a decent place to go.) But you'll have to wear condoms for about the first month or so to ensure you don't get pregnant. Hope this helps you :)
