I was prescribed BC pill before but it came up to $200 including altrasound and other examination.... now I just want the prescription for BC only.How much does it cost to check with your OBGYN for birth control pill?
If you've had a pelvic exam within the last year then you should just be able to call and ask for a prescription for pills. Ask for free samples too. And if you are worried about money then ask for a generic brand. If you have insurance you might want to ask about other forms of birth control. I was sick of paying for pills so I got an IUD, which was completely covered by my insurance and now I don't have to worry about birth control for five years.
