Does anyone know the average cost of birth control?

IUD - 5 year or 10 year one?

Vasectomy?

Tubes Tied?

Thanks!Does anyone know the average cost of birth control?
Vasectomy at a regualr urologist office = About $1000

Non-profit clinic = About $600Does anyone know the average cost of birth control?
The pill - generic is about $35 a month.

Merina (5 year IUD) is about $250 plus the doctor office visit

IUD (10 year) is between $175 and 400 plus the doctor office visit

Tubes tied is between $1,000 and $3,000. May be less if you are also having a c-section.

Catholic hospitals do not allow tubals unless there is a state law in place their right to have one. Support bills to put an end to this. Heck, my state actually had to have a law enacted to allow rape victims Plan B pills as well as abort ectopic pregnancies at Catholic hospitals in my state.
With insurance, the pill (Yaz, so it is name brand) cost me $20.00 a month.

I'm sure it costs more, but my copay is $20.00

And Yes, Catholic hospitals do tubals!!!!!! Please, we're not that crazy! I know lots of women that have had them done in Catholic hospitals with no problems... lol
My Nuvaring costed me $65 a month, without insurance. Our Catholic hospital does not do tubals.
