How much would it cost to outbid the special interest groups that control US. governments?

Divide that figure by 300 million citizens, pass the hat round, and buy your government back! How much would it cost to outbid the special interest groups that control US. governments?
A brilliant solution! I'm in for a grand.

{{ps funny how so many people didn't get your satire.}}How much would it cost to outbid the special interest groups that control US. governments?
a heavy task out there, if you attempt any thing this way, you will be no better than the guys at Gitmo, you will join them or become a sharks meal?? that is dangerous...really dangerous
im in do u take plastic
I'lol have to break my piggy bank!
Wouldn't it be cheaper to show up at the voting booth...
After seven years of Bush I'm broke.
It is even simpler and cheaper then that. All we have to do is stop reelecting incumbents for at least 8 years. Put yourself in the position of a special interest group. You have spent millions of dollars to support your pet politicians elections and they lose. Your out millions of dollars and you start spending on more and they lose too. You might stop wasting your money this way after a while. The politicians might learn that they have no job security and if there is any chance of them keeping their job it will rely on them making their constituents happy instead of special interest groups. After 8 years we will be rid of any corrupt politicians with practice and we will have 535 scared politicians desperate to do their jobs well for the first time in the history of the world.

We might even get lucky and elect a true statesman or two. If we do then give them a second term and see if they can handle it.

We need to make getting re-elected an exception instead of a rule. Make them prove they want to serve instead of receive.

In truth there are probably some good people there even now but if those good folks lose their job it isn't going to hurt them. If they are statesmen then we are doing them a great favor and letting them return to their lives and family. There isn't a single person on capitol hill that is poor and looking at a career in McDonald's if they lose an election. I promise.
add number of zeroes to the $ as u count 300 m.
We shouldn't have to do that. Why not just take it back? It should never have been for sale. If our leaders have been bought and paid for by special interest groups then we don't owe them a paycheck. They don't work for us, so they should be fired.

Do the math? I don't even know how much those prostitutes charge!
