How much should it cost to repair /replace an upper control arm bushing on an 02' Chevy 2500 HD 2 WD?

the shop says I need to replace them all, but only one is squeaking. They say it will cost $350 -$400. Am I getting ripped off or is this a valid concern. Then again will a weekly shot of WD 40 keep the squeak at bay and save me some cash? What else will this affect if it is really going out?

I appreciate all info. Have a great day.How much should it cost to repair /replace an upper control arm bushing on an 02' Chevy 2500 HD 2 WD?
350-400 parts and labor does not sound like anyone's trying to rip you off. Spraying wd-40 on rubber bushing will cause them to fail prematurely. Use tire mounting lubricant to silence the squeak until you fix it right. Good luck. How much should it cost to repair /replace an upper control arm bushing on an 02' Chevy 2500 HD 2 WD?
go to energysuspension.com and they have complete bushing sets or just the ones you need. and they last much longer than rubber. if you some mechanical inclination then replacing control arm bushings or any bushings are fairly easy.
we used somethig like wd40 it will quite them for a day or two the price they gave yiou is ligit bushings have to be prtessed in and realigned i would check around smaller shops are cheapest
try soaking with rubberlube spray.. unless you have a bunch of miles on it or have abused the truck (off roading) i doubt that you have a wasted bushing....
GO DOWN TO YOUR LOCAL CAR WASH AND SOAK THEM WITH WAX AND WAX ONLY.

SPEND ABOUT $10.00 ON JUST WAX DO NOT RINSE.
