which one will help me loose weight? i know someone who is on the pills and she is very skinnyI do not have health insurance how much does birth control pills cost and which is the better one to use?
Go to the health department or family planning clinic. They go by your income and provide birth control pills.I do not have health insurance how much does birth control pills cost and which is the better one to use?
Birth control pills will not make you skinny. If they did I would be a size 0 by now! Lol. However, since you have no insurance you should apply for Family Planning Medicaid. With it you qualify for free birth control pills, or the shot. I'm not to sure about the Mirena, Nuvaring, or patch when it comes to Family Planning Medicaid.
the pill has a different effect on each and every woman. for example, i have friends that were on yasmin and she did nothing but gain. even if she worked out and ate less, she put on a lot of weight. sometimes the pill can cause additional things of skin issues or sickness. you should really touch base with a dr bc they can determine which pill will be better for your family history. know things such as blood clotting or depression. all can be contributed with the pill.
They don't help you lose weight. It's different for everyone. I was told not to go by what a bc does to other people. The pill i'm on cause me to gain weight while it cause a friend of mine to get many side effects and a different friend w/ the same bc lost weight. It's different for everybody.
The pill does not help you lose weight. I was on Yasmin for 2 years and really liked it. It cleared up my acne, I had lighter, shorter periods and no menstrual cramps.

I bought it at jandrugs.com. It's a place in Canada that sells Yasmin for really cheap. Usually it's about $40 per packet at places like Walgreens or Target. But you can get 3 months worth at jan drugs for about $55.

Hope this helps!
none of them will help you lost weight. they are to protect you from getting pregnant and regulate your period, they aren't diet pills. just because one person that takes them is skinny doesn't mean anything. go to planned parenthood. it'll be the cheapest there.
go to the free clinic and see what they can hook you up with.

other then that...they all are not so cheap, and i haven't heard of too many, well any actually that make you skinny...but i guess would be cool if they have it! why don't you ask her what she takes??
The pill will not help you lose weight. I've taken Ortho, Yaz and Nuva Ring --- I've never gained weight or lost weight.

Because you don't have insurance your best bet is to go with a birth control pill that is now generic.
this is a good question for your doctor. cause it depends on your body, what works for that girl may not work so well for you. and without insurance the price varies...again, good question for your doc.
