I think the board you refer to is known as the inverter board and you may be able to repair it for the cost of a FET transistor and some time to solder it in. a lcd/flat panel monitors dont have bulbs/lamps.. they are recharged.. and it would be cheaper to buy a new one.. that an there isnt any retailers that allow you to recharge yr flatpanel monitor.. you can try to search on the net for ';recharging flat-panel monitors';
