How much does Lybrel birth control cost and how often do you have to buy a new pack?

I want to start using Lybrel (period-less birth control) soon but I haven't been able to find any price on it. How much does birth control usually cost or how much does Lybrel itself cost from anyone who has taken it?How much does Lybrel birth control cost and how often do you have to buy a new pack?
As far as Lybrel goes, it's approx $50-$55 per monthly pack. Your insurance may pay for it, although mine sure doesn't (although I get reimbursed through my Flexible Spending Account). I've used it for about a year now. Had some breakthrough bleeding for the first 3 months, but now it's very rare that I have any bleeding at all. Love being on it. No more headaches or cramps. i used to be on it..the cost depends on your insurance and you have to buy a new click pack every month. i wouldn't recommend getting it..i bled during the 3rd month..then after about 6 months i had breakthrough bleeding for almost 2-3 months straight. one of my friends was on it around the same time i was and the exact same thing happened to her. you can get rid of your period by taking Yaz if you skip the placebos.
