When they replace the bushings do they have to take the subframe and all of that off?? 2003 Chevy Impala? How much do control arm bushings cost?
The bushings themselves are relatively inexpensive, but replacing them will cost a little. The control arm may have to be removed from the car. Why does a 2003 Impala already have a worn out bushing? Those things usually last quite a while. Good idea to have the alignment checked if they aren't going to do that already. How much do control arm bushings cost?
From my memory of Fords - those parts were cheap - no more than $20. You will need an alignment when the job's done so the total cost shouldn't exceed $200 depending on where you're from.
Some Impalas have seen service as taxi or police vehicles where a lot of wear and tear has been exerted on the car.
looked at all your questions concerning the front end on your impala, sounds like you are getting the run-around, either they are screwing with you or they don't know what they are doing, find a trustworthy competent mechanic, avoid the dealership

why not ask these guys, good luck
NO, just need to take the wheel off and take the suspension apart. But you may need a front end alignment when it's all said and done. The bushings will cost around 50 bucks and labor could be as much as 300. Good luck.
