what makes you think a or any democrats can lower the oil costs? there isn't any republician that can lower it either. they don't set the prices and they cannot control it.


haven't you ever noticed that politicans promise you any and everything, but they never keep the promises. they lie. anything to get your vote. you show me 1 politician thats honest, and i'll show you a hundred that's either a thief, corrupt, murderer, liar. that goes for your state governments and city governments also. why do you think they spend millions and millions to get a job that pays peanuts.
Unless you are going to have the government subsidize the price of Oil, the government can do little to nothing over the price of Oil. Oil is a commodity who's price is set in the market.





This is usually effected by supply and demand, so the best way to lower prices would be to get more Oil. To ways to do this, have OPEC increase there output ( they are screwing wiht us right now, so they don't see a need to do this) the Democrats won't work with them so that is out. Or we could drill more, well we cant drill in ANWAR, or off New England or the Gulf, mainly do to the Democratic Environmentalist . (Which in this case I agree, we need to get off Oil not drill for more).





So how do you propose lowering Oil prices, or are you just going to make a law telling companies how much they can charge for Oil, They would just sell it somewhere else, because of Market dynamics.





Or Perhaps you will tax the Oil companies to lower Oil prices,


the Answer for the Democratic Congress somehow alwasys ends with we need to raise taxes. Yea raising taxes always lowers prices, Right?
